Our season run from July through late October each year. We have practices (and trail rides!) all season long. Weekend race season starts in September. More info below.

What Riders Need

• Mountain bike and helmet
• Water/hydration
• Team jersey (for races)
• Optional: gloves, toolkit, spare tube

Family Involvement

Families are a huge part of the program!

• Parents can volunteer, help at events, or even become coaches
• No prior biking or coaching experience needed
• Opportunities include event coordination, camping support, and more 

2026 Costs

• Club Fee: $200 (includes team activities, food, and gear) 
• $50 discount for siblings 
• NICA Fee: $360 (insurance, league events, and programs) 
• Total cost: $560
• WI NICA offers scholarships and financial assistance are available

Season Practices

Subject to change once the season starts

Practice will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at Kletzsch Park or Estabrook, 5:30-7pm (July-Aug) and 5-6:30pm (Sept-Oct).  

Weekend trail rides will be held on Saturday mornings (start time tbd, ~25-60 min drive) at familiar locations: Greenbush, Minooka, and John Muir.  For weekday trail rides (~30 min drive; we are considering Heritage Trails, Kegel-Alpha, and Minooka) will generally occur on Thursdays, rotating every few weeks. 

When weekday trail rides occur they will replace the Saturday trail ride (only 1 trail ride per week).  For athletes who race a minimum quantity of trail rides will be required to meet race safety guidelines.  When dates are final, all practices and trail rides will be loaded into our Team Snap Calendar.
